ST Kinetics wins £9.5m UK govt contract
SINGAPORE Technologies Engineering said yesterday that its land systems arm, Singapore Technologies Kinetics (ST Kinetics), has secured a £9.5 million (S$20.9 million) contract from the UK's Ministry of Defence to supply 40mm ammunition. Delivery will start in the second half of 2009 and will be completed in the first half of 2011. ST Kinetics has been supplying 40mm ammunition to the UK's Ministry of Defence since 2002. Last year it announced two 40mm ammunition contracts from the UK ministry worth a total of about $120 million.
